Our History
The founder of the firm, William Edward Cassidy has practiced maritime law since 1979. He is also Board Certified as an Admiralty and Maritime lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Attorney Cassidy is also a member of the Miami Maritime Arbitration Council, working to resolve client matters through arbitration when requested.
Michael Charles Black has practiced maritime and transportation law with the firm since 1995. He became a partner with the firm in 2001 and became the managing partner in 2009
In 2009, attorney Kate S. Goodsell joined the firm as an associate.
